Hey bo6 bot lobby service zombie slayers,I stumbled on something awesome last night while grinding Shattered Veil. Apparently, if you complete a hidden mini-challenge, you can earn a free random perk drop! I thought it was a fluke at first, but I tested it a few times and it’s consistent.
Here’s how it works:
In certain zones (especially near the Veil Tears), you’ll occasionally trigger a mini-objective — like "Kill 15 enemies in 60 seconds" or "Get 5 headshots without missing."
If you complete these on the spot without leaving the area, a glowing reward pedestal appears. It usually drops salvage... but occasionally, it’ll pop out a perk bottle!
I got Speed Cola early in Round 5 doing this and it made such a difference. Reloading was a pain until then.
My theory is the chance for a perk drop increases if you already have 2+ perks purchased. Almost like the game rewards stacking risk.
If you’re running co-op, this works for the whole squad — whoever finishes the challenge contributes, and everyone gets a bottle!
